Hi.

I have an Eyefinity 6 5870 which i'm trying to run 6 monitors on. However, I cannot get more than 2 displays running at any one time. All displays are detected but only two will run at once.

I have 4x DVI monitors 1440x 1000, and 2 x DP 1440x1000.

I have 4x active mini dp- dvi's and 2 passive DP- mini DP's (these two came with the card).

Whatever combination I use, only 2 will run at once.

Can anyone please help?

Cheers

The requirement of Windows VISTA (or newer) is stated in various places on AMD's website.  Unfortunately, the technology behind Eyefinity, and the current graphics products supporting 3+ displays is not compatible with Windows XP.  I went back to the HD5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition's product page.  Under specifications, it has a footnote for Eyefinity.  The footnotes tab has stated.  Again - that's just one place.
