I have a 3 monitor setup with a 5770HD card. I have both ubuntu 13.1 and Windows 8 on my desktop. I have the setup going: DVI + DVI + DISPLAY Active Adapter.

When I boot into windows and try to setup the three monitors, it says "The display settings c ould not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings."

I would normally just go get a new adapter but the problem does not lie there.

When I boot into Ubuntu, the three monitors work perfectly. I can rearange them, everything! As of right now, I know this is not a hardware problem.

I called amd customer support, and they could not answer my question at all. They just blamed it on the adapter even though it worked in linux.

And to answer other questions, yes I reflashed windows, tried to reinstall the drivers, and such.

Anyone have any ideas???? I really need help cause I'm heading back to college soon and I want my gaming setup to be perfect!
