I need help with my system, i have an asus HD7770 2GB GDDR5 I'm trying to set up eyefinity with a Hanns G 27" 1920x1200 and two dells 21" 1680x1050, the hanns G is connected with a Startech Active DP2DVI to the display port in the video card and the two dells with DVI to DVI, I already return the DP2DVI adapter because they said it was faulty and they send me a new one, I connect only one monitor to the adapter and it works, but when i tried connecting another monitor both monitors start flickering and they give black screen, if i disconect the extra monitor it works fine,  or sometime it lower the resolution to 800x600 and it shuts down the monitor in the adapter, sometimes it doesn't even recognize the monitor in the adapter, I already tried the adapter in the DVI to DVI with one of the dells and it works, I already tried with a DVI to VGA adapter and it works but as soon as i connect the second monitor it gives me troubles and three monitors just forget it is not happening, I already tried Asus GPU Tweak because I saw other forums that maybe the clock in 2D is going lower that the 3D clocks, but nothing happens, at the beginning it was working fine no problem at all but later on it start giving me this problem.

Do you think i have a faulty video card? or is it the adapter and i need to buy a diferent brand?

Can anyone help me with this please....

Are you looking to create an Eyefinity Group, or just run 3 displays in extended desktop mode?

Can you provide details on your system specifications.  Motherboard, PSU, etc..

I am not certain how well you will enjoy an Eyefinity Group that consists of varying displays.  The ideal Eyefinity Group is one made up of identical displays - or at the least - those of same size and resolution.

Can you confirm that you have tested all the ports on the back of the HD7770 to be working well when just 1 display is physically connected?  Can you also confirm that any combination of 2 displays connected will cause the flicker?

Make sure the ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 motherboard's BIOS is current, and then try installing Catalyst 13.8 after working through the uninstall steps outlined in this sticky (just to ensure clean install of drivers).

Ok i did everything here, I update the motherboard bios, I installed a new Catalyst 13.8, i check all the port with a single monitor and all of them works fine, I did a combination of only 2 monitors and they work fine in eyefinity, the problem only appears when i connect the third monitor, doesn't matter the monitor or the port as long as is the third monitor and now when i have the eyefinity group set up with the three monitors and i moved any windows through the monitors they start flickering, the three of them and when i tried to play a game (in this case ETS2)i got a blue screen.

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:    BlueScreen
  OS Version:    6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
  Locale ID:    1033

Additional information about the problem:

  BCP1:    00000000C0000005
  BCP2:    FFFFF88002DD9742
  BCP3:    FFFFF88009177CC0

  OS Version:    6_1_7600
  Service Pack:    0_0
  Product:    256_1

I don't know if the problem is the diference of resolution between monitors because  I tried eyefinity group with the 1920 and the 1680 and it works fine, It always happened with the third monitors, two monitors are fine but not three.

What do you think is the problem here?

Well after trying and trying and if the AMD Teck gave up I'm giving up too.

I bought a third monitor as my other 2 so i have 3 monitors same size, same brand, same resolution, I already changed 3 adapters, 2 actives and one passive, I already uninstall and install and nothing, i changed cables and nothing, I guess the HD 7770 does not support 3 monitors in eyefinity or my card is bad.

Anyway if someone can recommend me a video card with eyefinity capability out of the box with DVIs so i don't have to use adapters, I would really apreciate it. Thank you.

Not going to happen with DVI's. You have to have active adapters in order to run eyefinity.

There is only 1 card that supports eyefinity without active adapters. Thats the sapphire "flex" model cards. The flex edition cards support 3 monitors at once without the need of active adapters.

However usually you'll still need an adapter of some type.

My XFX Double D 7950's run eyefinity just fine. 1 DVI, One HDMI to DVI adapter, 1 mini displayport to DVI Active adapter.

Those are the two active adapters I've used. I used the normal displayport on my older 5870, I use the new mini one on my 7950's. Been doing it for years now. So you seem to be just getting unlucky with bad hardware.

Thank you for the Info, maybe I'll go for the HD 7950 after all or the HD7990 if they go cheaper. One question I was checking the information on you XFX Double D 7950 and that video card comes with two DVIs one single and One double but you're not using the two DVIs, instead you using the HDMI and the Mini Display Port with adapters to DVI, why is that? Because if you can't use two DVIs port with eyefinity maybe that's the problem that i have. But Thank for the info I really apreciate it.

Mine is one of the very first XFX double disappation series 7950's . It has the same connectors on the back of it as the "Core" edition.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150590 My card looks like that on the back.

First Double Disppation 7950's from XFX were like that on the back.

So I only have 1 Duel linke DVI, 1 HDMI , and two Mini displayports.

So Even if you got a later edition, You could use the two DVI's then 1 mini active displayport adapter > Dvi for the third monitor.
