I'm currently running a single 2560x1440 27" monitor and I'd like to flank it with 2 15" 900x1440 monitors (in portait mode).

Any idea if this is being actively developed or not?  I can't see why it would be complex to do in SLS mode.  Just do a matrix rotation on the pixels for the two flanking monitors and boom, correct orientation.

They haven't released any time frame as to if this will be supported or when it will be released. But I've heard through the grapevine "soon". But I mean we know the industries definition of soon.

That's too bad, because people have been complaining since the beginning of Eyefinity and it doesn't seem like a very hard problem to overcome.  The offical answer to me sounds like they're not actively developing a solution and it could be years before we actually see any progress.

Also looking for an Eyefinity solution for different rotations.

In my case would like the top two displays in a 2x2 setup flipped.  Works in extended mode, but not Eyefinity.  Would provide a tighter bezel fit...

Let me know if any alternate solution was found.

I'm curious if the latest 14.9 drivers changed anything with this.  Lists "Eyefinity Display Alignment" as an enhancement: Enables control over alignment between adjacent monitors.

I'm not 100% sure what this means, but I guess it doesn't mention rotation.

I saw another review of 14.9 Eyefinity stuff, and it mentioned PLP still didn't work.

It's easy to find lots of different forums with questions about this.  Too bad AMD isn't listening.

I've replaced my AMD card, but would put back in or get a new one if I could do different rotations in SLS mode.

Throwing my hand up for this feature request.

I am running PLP

1024 x 1280 --- 1920 x 1200 --- 1024 x 1280

By leaving the lower 80 pixels of the left and right screens black i have 3968 x 1200 gaming res for a handfull of games.

Whomever supports it first (either AMD or Nvidia) will get a sale for a new highend card from me !

One more customer waiting for PLP! AMD's versatility is one of their biggest draws for me. Things like physx are cool, but the the eyefinity support for amd is just so much more usefull. Give us support for PLP Eyefinity and I'll buy another R9 290x Lightning!
