Hi all and Happy New Year, I have a fairly new system running a HD6970 with the following config.

2 x DVI

1 x mini DP (via active adap) to DVI

1 x mini DP (via a mini DP to DP adap) to CLUB MST HUB (only 2 screens connected)

My issue is this, although this should work fine and is all recongnised the screens comming off the MST HUB constantly flicker and noise on them.  They are working as DP1.2 20.76 Gbps throughput with a total of 44% bandwidth used.  If im fortunate that this crashes it drops to DP1.1 and only 10 Gbps throughput with around 88% bandwidth used however NO flickering or noise.

My question please is does anyone know why this is flickering even though there is plenty of bandwidth or does anyone know how to force DP1.1 rather than 1.2? I dont need to run 1.2 as only plan at this time to use 5 total monitors....

Sorry forgot to add all monitors are running 1920 x 1080.

Many thanks for any assistance.

Sorry for highjacking yor thread.

but i have same problem with MSt hub .

Still can't find the answer. What is wrong?. Why is flickering????

I only have 4 monitors connected

3 (via dvi  active adapter to dp) into mst hub

1(via active dvi to mini dp)

If i connect all seperate , use 2 dvi and 2 active dvi to mini dp.  Its working all fine. But i want to add another monitor and to do so i  need to use mst hub.

I f anyone knowns  the solution please let me known
