Hi,

I have two issues.
1) I have an AMD Radeon HD 8760 and I just installed the latest Catalyst driver. Now my Windows 8 PC recognizes my card as being an AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series. That's so messed up.

2) THis is the setup that I have.
DVI connected straight to the DVI input of a display
HDMI connected straight to a second display
DisplayPort connected to the HDMI port of a third display. Signal passes through this little tool: http://www.bandridge.com/en-us/computer/monitor-adapters-couplers-splitters/displayport//55905330

When I connect my third screen; the last connected screen shows up as detected, but is disabled and I can't get it function properly.

This seems a very basic and straightforward setup; yet I fail in getting it to work.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Jarrich

1) The Radeon HD 8760 is essentially a rebrand of the 7700 series for the OEM market.

2) You need at least one "active" display connection to enable the third monitor at the same time. Examples include:

- native DisplayPort display

- Active DisplayPort-DVI adapter

- Active DisplayPort-HDMI adapter

- DisplayPort-VGA adapter (all of these are active)

My guess is that the DP-HDMI adapter you're using is passive/
