Card: XFX R9 290.

Monitors: Coby ledtv3916 1080p 60 hz (X3)

Connection: 2 DVI to HDMI cables. 1 active displayport to HDMI cable.

When I connect the monitors they will default to 1080p. Unfortunately the TV's see this as a non-computer resolution so i can't select PC input for this resolution. This makes the screen extend past the edges of the display and the screen is "fuzzy". If I choose a computer resolution then everything looks right but the screen does not go all the way to the edges. It's not an overscan issue. What i need is 1920x1080 as a basic resolution choice yet the CCC only goes up to 1680x1050. Is there a way to add 1920x1080 (not 1080p) to the resolution selection?

BTW: All was working on my 6970.

Thanks,

John

An update.

The two DVI connected monitors are displaying correctly now. The DP to HDMI is still not functioning properly. I am going to try a DP to DVI active dongle with a DVI to HDMI cable to see if it works. Looks like my flight simulator will be down till the weekend...
