So my setup is two 5770's running crossfire.

Each card has two dvi, one hdmi and one dp

All three of my monitors are dvi. Two are dvi'ed in to the primary card and working fine. The third is running dvi to dp via an active adaptor (startech DP2DVIS F/W Version 95 which is listed as supported on ati's site...

I can't for the life of me get it to fire up. what am i doing wrong here?

Well you need all 3 monitors plugged up into the top card. If you've done that. You need to look at your adapter as possibly being bad.

Because as long as its working when you go into your Control Center it should show all 3 monitors and the option to create an eyefinity group.

Yeah.. i figured it was that but all the shops were closed and i hate having something not working. I picked up a different adaptor today and it lit up right away. Time to return the defective one..

Go figure.. The one on ATI's list of "compatible" adaptors didn't work but one other off brand one that wasn't on the list did..

Thanks
