Since I already have a 7850 card would it be worth it to add another one or just upgrade to a higher single card, I heard there has been an issue with microstuttering while running crossfire ?

It depends on the game and how well the drivers are coded for said game. If you have a powerful enough PC adding another 7850 would more then likely double your FPS if you play at a high enough resoultion.
