Hello, with BF4 coming out this fall I am thinking of adding a second 7790 so can still play with Ultra settings. My only concern now is will my old Core 2 Quad bottleneck a second 7790 and make running a second 7790 useless? My CPU is not currently mazing out when I play BF3 on Ultra but, I've heard some say that it may bottle neck with 2 cards though. What do you guys think? Will it bottle neck or should I just skip a second card? Also I'll take any suggestion for an inexpensive PSU that won't burn my house down.

System Stats:

GPU1: MSI Radeon 7790 1 GB OC Edition (love it, great preformance for the price I paid)

GPU2: If I do run with crossfire I will get a second MSI 7790 that's the same model as my current to reduce the risk of complications.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2.66Ghz (LGA 775 socket)

Ram: 4 x2Gb sticks at 1333Mhz

OS: Windows 7 Professional

HDD: 1 Tb Western Digital Caviar Black

SSD: Corsair F120 120Gb

PSU: Antec Earthwatts 500w (I wil upgrade this to a 700w+ PSU if I do crossfire) Any recomendations on a good inexpensive PSU?

Mother Board: Intel Extreme DX48BT2 with the x48 Chipset (This motherboard is on AMDs crossfire approved motherboard list)

Thanks in advance guys!

Battlefield 3 scales very well and I would expect 4 to as well, so I would be looking into upgrading. While you are at it I would go ahead and get a 650-750w 80 Plus Gold (or platinum) PSU from Corsair, Enermax, or SeaSonic so you will not have to worry about having to change it in the next decade.
