Is there a way to make crossfire compatible with older games?

I recently bought a 2nd 7950 and it does not work on the main game I play, called Vindictus.

Is there anyway we can get crossfire to work with this game?

Even the game's recommended system requirements only require a low to mid weight gpu...your 7950 should max ALL your settings.  Does it?

Won't hurt having the 7950 for other games in CrossFire...enable Crossfire *when* you *need* it.  Right click the smaller AMD Catalyst logo to see when it is on ingame and it will appear in the upper right corner on your screen IF supported.

Thanks for the reply.

This game is a player hosted type of mmo (the leader of the party hosts the dungeons from their own pc). Problem is that I get fps dips down to 20s and high 10s, during intense combat with lots of debris and what not. I thought that 2nd video card would help.

My pc build:

8350@4.7ghz

2x Radeon 7950

Sabertooth 990fx

16gb Kingston @ 1866mhz 1.65v

Samsung 840 pro

According to This Thread on the Vindictus support forums the game itself does not have multi GPU support so there is nothing AMD nor nVidia can do.

Do keep the card...you'll be glad you did for other games!  Nice rig you have there!
