Hi,

I hope to find an asnwer to the following problem:

Is is possible to have one workstation GPU and one gaming GPU on the same computer, without having to dualboot?

I currently have a 7950, but it is not giving good performance when I use CAD programs, such as Solidworks. I'd like to get a workstation such as the FirePro V5900 or W5000.

Are there any other solution than dualboot? Could a KMS switch work?

They use different driver sets, so you shouldn't run them in the same machine. I would build a second computer and use a KVM switch.

Well, you are right about the drivers. I think a more economic solution is the dual boot (even if I wanted a better solution), as I don't want to have two different machines.
