I am running an ASUS Sabertooth Z77 mother board with an intel core i7-3770k @ 3.5 GHZ. The crossfire setup is a diamond Radeon HD7870 ghz edition part#7870pe52gv and Radeon HD7870 ghz edition double black diamond part#7870pe52gdd. Driver package version 9.012-121219a-151592C-ATI,  catalyst version 13.1,Catalyst Control Center Version 2012.1219.1521.27485. Crossfire enables with this version however I have to disable the Hdaudio on both cards in device manager and I get "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" on at least one of them. If I enable the audio on the cards it disabled with windows sound API. If I try and upgrade to any driver version above this one crossfire option is missing in CCC. The adapters both show enabled butt no crossfire option. The cards clearly have a resource sharring issue with the onboard HD audio from what I can tell. I have returned my original mother board and received a replacement with the exact same issue. I do not have any other cards installed. The onboard IGPU is disabled the Motherboard HDaudio is enabled. Doesn't matter whether this is enabled or not for the issue.
