I am stuck at 120hz with crossfire and  vsync enabled in all games with a 60 hz  monitor?

I returned a 120Hz monitor with a dead pixel and went back to using my previous 60Hz monitor a while back and the problem has persisted since.I have uninstalled all the 120Hz panels drivers.

catalyst 13.11 beta 9.5 shows 60hz.

windows shows 60hz.

I have forced vsync in catalyst, still 120hz.

Used AMD Catalyst Uninstall Utility and uninstalled catalyst and tried different versions.

I have removed all registrys for the 120hz monitor.

I have uninstalled games and deleted all trace of them re-installed the same game and its still stuck 120hz.

If I disable crossfire vsync is 60hz and works fine, its only when crossfire is enabled I get the problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this its driving me crazy.

Update: I have fixed this by rolling back to Catalyst 13.10 beta 2, the vsync  problem is with 13.11 beta 9.4 and 13.11 beta 9.5.

I found the same problem when I tried out 13.11 beta.

I am having a similar problem with my crossfire and these drivers except mine are stuck at 40Hz on my 60 Hz monitor. Very annoying. I hope it is just a driver issue.  If you find a fix please reply.
