Hello,

I look for make a Crossfire of R9 290 and I dont find the power supply recommendation for a Crossfire of 2 cards.

In the moment I have a XFX 850W Black Edition is it good for run a crossfire of R9 290.

Close...should be OK...linustechtips indicates the card will use ~300 watts each as does Tom's Hardware.

However, see this and click "specs":

A 1200w would provide the most optimal efficiency, but 850w should be your bare minimum assuming it's a quality unit, and considering all XFX units are made by SeaSonic, you are fine.

OK thank you guys for you answer I probably start with my XFX 850 for the beginning and I probably buy in the future a 1000W and more for have a optimal power.

I have finaly add a second R9 290 to make a crossfire on my 850W XFX black edition power supply and all work great.
