Hi all,

Long time Nvidia fanboy, but with recent driver issues i've decide to try "the other side"

I'm currently running 3 x gtx670's on a Dell 30" (2560x1600) monitor and 1 gtx570 on 2 Dell 27" (2560x1440) monitors.

I'm contemplating purchasing 2 Sapphire AMD ATI Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 Gaming Graphics Card HDMI DP DVI and was wondering if I could use these two cards to run all three monitors but also utilise both cards in crossfire for running games on the 30" monitor.

Not sure how amd cards handle running different resolutions or if I would require a third card to run the 2 27" monitors.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

My current specs:

CPU: Intel i5-3570k @ 3400.0 MHz

RAM: 2 x 8192 MB PC3-17000 DDR3 SDRAM G-Skill F3-2133C11-8GZL

OS: Win 7

Motherboard: Asus Maximus Extreme V

PSU: Enermax  Platimax 1200W
