yea so as said in the title after i installed the latest drivers for my newly installed r9 my cursor is twice the size. ive also checked the mouse settings and everything is on default. when the drivers are uninstalled the mouse seems to go back to normal.

 

my setup is xfx r9 290x asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 amd fx6200 corsair hx 850 and 4gb of ram

Go back to the driver set you were using before that worked correctly.

I have the exact same issue with a Gigabye R9 290 Windforce. The issue is to do with drivers or perhaps EDID settings through HDMI. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and every time it will revert back to being large. Also, I just completely reinstalled Windows 8.1 and installed non-beta drivers first thing and the issue reappeared.
