I have an asus crosshair iv formula ROG Mobo.  I have a Radeon 6950 and R9 270x I just bought.  I have the 6950 as the primary on the first PCIE slot and the R9 on the 3rd slot.  I have the crossfire cable that came with the R9 bridged.  I cannot seem to figure out why I have no xfire option in CCC.  I tried v13.12 and 13.11 to no avail.  GPU-Z also shows xfire as being disabled.  Is this a card capability mismatch or something more?

you cannot crossfire those cards,You need another 6950,6970 or 6990 for yours.

or another R9 270.

 

The R9 270's are the successors to the 7870 and 7850.
