So to start with specs:

Crossfired Sapphire Ghz edition 1G GDDR5 7770s no overclock.

(299-1E214-000SA + 299-1E244-001SA) Stable drivers I'm using are the 13.12 edition.

Operating system is Win7 64bit Home premium S.P.1.

Issue details are.. After removing and cleaning the 13.12 drivers I've rebooted and installed the 14.1 Beta drivers, all seemed well untill you go to run a game and Pow! BSOD!

Upon rebooting and scanning through the web for any obvious fixes Bam! BSOD!  After a further reboot I decided to dissable crossfire, just to see, and the driver becomes stable!

So I think there is a problem here somewhere...

For the rest of the info:

Motherboard is an ASUSTek M4A77TD pro.

Power is from an Ezcool ambiance 80+ 800w.

Display is a DELL P991 1600x1200 utilising VGA to DVI adapter.

Every application and game is affected.

Phenom II X6 1040T not overclocked.

BIOS American megatrends Inc. Version 2301. (08/11/2010)

8Gig of Corsair DDR3 NB frequency shows 2008.9MHz (2X4 sticks, paired)

2xSATA HDs and 1xDVD RW 1xExtra fan for cooling.

Hope that helps to sort this driver out as running MWO on a single card seemed to net a 15+ fps boost. Nice.

I also had a bad experience with 14. 1. Not only BF4 with mantle, just almost every other dx10 and -11 bsod'ed after a few seconds of very poor perfmance.

I've send an issue report to AMD, but they probably knowing they are far from finished. Hopefully an updated beta comes soon, and not after another month of waiting..

So far, 14.1 has been a complete failer for me.  I can't even play BF4 with it installed.  Crashes as soon as the game loads.  I took the risk that Mantle and R9 290 cards would be worth the money with the 4gb of memory so I baught 2 290's right after they were released and slapped a couple EK waterblocks and backplates on them. Now I wish I had kept my money, waited a little longer and got a couple of 780ti's.  I can't use vsync with crossfire enabled because it causes the sound to stutter and pop.  And I can't play several of my older games with crossfire either like AC3.  I was working on road last year so I never got a chance to finish the game.  Now I can't because apparently there's no crossfire profile for it in any of the new drivers.  I have to have 2 cards running to get decent fps since I'm running a 3 wide 5760x1080 setup.  I have been really disappointed with these cards.  Nvidia will have there next generation of cards out by the time they get these working right.  I should through these up on the auction block.  I'm sure there's some crypto coin miners out there that would like to have them.

I was just thinking, is this to do with the BUS Interface?? I know mine are different one being:

[PCI-E 3.0x16@x16 2.0]  and the other

[PCI-E 3.0x16@x4 2.0]

These results gathered when both are under load...

I know some newer motherboards split the load as 3.0x16@x8 for instance.

Either that or is it just a 7770 crossfire compatibility issue
