Uptade: It only locks the FPS when I open Battlescreen if I just have battlelog open it's fine, as soon as I press battlescareen and the map loads my fps on my main monitor drops to 60 fps.

Hi all,

Don't know if this is a limitation because of Chrome is 32 bit or my monitors have different Hz rates, but here goes.

Normally I run 1 Samsung monitor fine it's a Samsung SA950 at 120hz it's a 1920x1080p and I easily hit my max limit of 119 which I set with the "gametime.maxvariablefps 119" on Ultra and 135% resolution, amazing gameplay love it.

When I try and use my second monitor for battlescreen a ASUS VE247 which is a 1920x1080p 60Hz monitor, I have a problem with BF4 locking my FPS to 60FPS when BF4 is full screen on my main monitor, when I say that I mean stays on 60fps doesn't move!

It only locks the FPS when I open Battlescreen if I just have battlelog open it's fine, as soon as I press battlescareen and the map loads my fps on my main monitor drops to 60 fps.

If I go to my desktop the BF4 window is minimized I can see the fps go back to 119 but If I try and go full screen my fps gets locked again at 60fps.

If I close the Chrome browser with battlescreen my fps goes back to 119.

I have both Monitors plugged into my Master GPU MSI R9 290x running in crossfire. The Samsung is running a Duel Link DVI and the ASUS is using a DVI cable.

Is it ever going to be possible to run the browser on one screen and the game on the other full screen at 120fps?

Even running ULTRA at 1080P @ 120Hz ,135% resolution I should have enough GPU power if I turn the 119 cap off my FPS will go up to 130-145fps at the 2592x1458 internal resolution (135% Resolution in BF4).

Thanks to anyone who can help me here!

Connected by Dual-link DVI-D

No OC just the stock MSI OC 1030/1250

MSI Afterburner App by default changed my Core Voltage to +13 but I change it back to either 0 or +6 to keep temps down.
