Hello!
I'm in serious need of assistance since I'm all out of ideas.
I have just bought a second Gigabyte 7870 card to be able to run Crossfire, I have also bought a new PSU wich is a Fractal R2 750W. The problem is that when I connect the powercords to the cards my computer refuse to start windows, it just reboots forever, as soon as the HDD:s are listed in POST. If I remove the powercord from the card that isn't connected to the monitor. The motherboard is a Z77 Extreme 6.
What I have tried so far is:
Switched place of the GPU.
Tried to boot without the crossfire-bridge.
All powercoords are connected firmly on the cards.
I have also tried to reset the BIOS.
Nothing works.

The computer boot as soon as i disconnect the power for the second card.

Please help me out if you can!

The computer doesn't even get to where I can press F8 for boot options. All I can access the BIOS. But as far as I can see there aren't any options for Crossfire.

*edit*

I even tried to change inside 'msconfig' to make the computer boot Windows in safemode, then i shut down computer and connected the second card and booted. Same thing happend

Updated the motherboard BIOS? Does the system log show any error code?

I have now updated BIOS to latest rev. Still the same right after BIOS shows my HDD:s the screen goes black and restarts.

When i boot there is a code in the lower right corner(same as is visible on the LCDscreen on the motherboard) it says B4 just as it reboots. According to Asrock the code stands for "USB hot plug", thats all it says.
