greetings,

I've got a brand new configuration on which I can't activate dual graphics. The option is not available in CCC. Here is my configuration :

AMD A8-5600K
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 Low Profile
GA-F2A88XM-DS2 motherboard
4G of Ram, PC12800 -1600 MHz

As stated in my mobo manual, in order to enable dual graphics, in GFX configuration I set Primary video device on NB PCIe Slot video, Integrated Graphics on "Force" and UMA Frame Buffer size on 512M

Then I installed all latest drivers and tadaa : no dual graphics option.

So, I tried to put Primary video device on IGD : no dual graphic
I Tried to put UMA Buffer on 1G, didn't work

I have uninstalled/re-installed the drivers : didn't work

So I have uninstalled again using the clean uninstall utility but It didn't work

Note that both the GPU and APU actually are detected and appears in CCC. Under information->hardware,  I've got the GPU as "Primary Adaptator" and the APU as "Enabled adaptator"

Driver Packaging Version : 14.10.1006-140417a-171099C
Catalyst Version : 14.4
AMD CCC Version : 2014.0417.2226.38446

Can anyone please help me ?

Hi,

I have the same problem.

APU is A10-5800 with sapphire low profile 1gb gdd5 hd6670 graphics card.

Mainboard is Asus A88xm-Plus

Have the same driver version 14.4 and windows 8 running.

Bios settings are the same as above instead of 1GB UMA Frame Buffer size.

Did all the driver update stuff / driver cleaner and so on. No dual graphics / crossfire options appears. Both cards visible in the windows device manager and are working correctly if I attach them speratly.

The card which is not choosen as primary card in the uefi bios is shown as disabled adapter in the ccc.

Any hints?

Hi,

I solved my problem. The ram speed was set to automatic in the bios. The Auto setting detected PC1600 speed only. I set them manualy to the desired ram speed (Pc2133 / Pc1800 worked too). Now the option is available without the need of reinstalling the drivers.

Hope this helps.

regards
