i have an A10-5800k trinity serries quard core 3.8 ghz (4.2 turbo) APU.

i just recently learned that i can run dual graphics with this card, but i wanted to know a few things;

- my motherboard has pci express 2.0 16x slot, can i get a GPU that is 3.0 16x?

- the recommended GPU i get is a radeon HD 6670, can i get a larger one?

- could i get 2 GPU's to crossfire, to add on to the dual graphics technology built in the APU?

thanks!!

PCI-E 3.0 gpu's are backwards compatible with 2.0 motherboards. If you wish to use dual graphics, HD 7670A is the most powerful one compatible and you can't use two. Personally I'd recommend forgetting about dual graphics and get a single higher end GPU that outperforms dual-graphics setup in every way, like R7 260x (which is already twice as powerful as HD 7670A) and up. Make sure your psu can handle the upgrade.

Agreed, Dual Graphics, even with the highest configuration, is extremely weak, and the price difference between the 250 and 260X is very small.

if my motherboard is FM2 socket which requies an APU only, wouldnt i have to get a new motherboard and CPU to bypass the dual graphics? or will a new GPU automatically bypass my APU trying to use dual graphics?
