WMudrockJr = Well I'm responding while viewing 144Hz in action. I've got 14 days to play with it and if I'm not happy and can return it to the store, 5% restocking fee. The monitor is on sale for $274. which is less expense than my LG now 2 years old. My LG had a 2ms response and was excellent.
Some people have indicated that they had to tweak the colour etc. but I am happy with it right out of the box. Catalyst recognized the monitor and the 144Hz without my having to do anything. I watched the biginning of one movie, which previously had stuttered slightly during an opening seen, but now smooth. I switched to Theatre mode with one of the control buttons and the picture was amazing. I'm 67 and my eyes certainly aren't what they use to be so for me this is refreshing (no pun intended).
I game early in the a.m. (I get up around 3:30 a.m.) so over the next few days I'll see how it does with BF3.
For the price I can't see why not to make the purchase.
