i have been to many forums and i have seen all the confusion regarding the HD3D capabilities of the switchable graphics intel hd4000 and AMD RADEON HD 8730M so i decided to come to the amd experts here.

i have a notebook with switchable graphics as mentioned above.the specs of the discrete gpu  AMD RADEON HD 8730M clearly mentions that its hd3d capable yet there is no way to use this technology especially using tridef 3D

so is this switchable architecture allows the use of the hd3d capability of this gpu and how if there is no way to choose the amd radeon graphic card even with the laterst catalyst drivers.

I have the same problem. The integrated GPU(7640G) works fine with HD3D, but the external(8750M) doesnt work at all and all the apps say its not supported. And the performance of the integrated GPU is very bad especially in games. How can we fix that? Is there a fix at all?
