So, this all started when I were putting together a computer for surfing and older games just to have. And after putting together the components together using an ESD armband. Now the computer boots as normally, fans and the whole package. Except the video. There are no signs of any kind of display being put out from the computer.

I tried to order new RAM's since the computer gave a short beep on every 2nd boot. I double checked they were supported by the motherboard and STILL no video. So I said f****** it and put in an old video card (HD4850) and tried to connect the display to that by DVI. No video...

I dunno what to do anymore so if anyone might know whats up please give a heads in!

I don't think a 430w power supply is enough to power a hd4850 (even though its from a quality manufacturer). How do you know it boots normally? Does it boot into windows, make startup noises etc (without video)? or it just takes power in, starts up the fans and then does nothing?

Well, at the time when I used the HD4850 all time, I used a 450W from Corsair as well and had no problems at all.

I have been starting to hear a short beep from the bootup which I heard the first time as well so I changed RAM's according to http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/amibeep.htm

otherwise the power seems to suffice, no problems with computer shutting off, fans keep going at all times without any sign of power failure, hard drive activity is going as normal. Can't figure it out. The computer haven't been formatted with windows yet since I can't get display. I'm sure I could do it without display but would be hard.
