Hello all.

I am interested in looking at making a Worksatation. I was thinking of going with an APU for this build. So in searching I noticed that AMD has come up with the AMD FirePro A300 Series. I am very interested in finding out more about it. The thing is that it looks like it is not even being sold anywhere. At least from what I have searched so far. So I have a few questions.

I am wondering did they drop the AMD FirePro A300 Series?

If not where or when can will I be able to get it?

I did see that Sapphire came up with the Sapphire PGS A300M and the Sapphire PGS A320M. But I can not find any of those as well. Did those two mobo's by Sapphire ever get made?

I am also wondeing how well an APU will do as a workstation. Even if I have to a FirePro GPU and add it to the setup or if I can just get the APU FirePro A300 Series. Will a setup like this work well? Or will there be issues with it?

Anyways that is basically what I am wanting to know. So does anyone have any thoughts on this subject? Also what brand and setup would you go for to do this if it is worth while?
