Dear all,

I have searched for some time now this evening but cannot seem to find the precise information I am looking for anywhere.

Please can you advise me of exactly which GPUs can utilise the dual graphics function with an A4-4000 APU?

I am looking for a low-cost GPU to pair with this in order to give my mother's new computer a slight graphics boost.

Kindest regards
anselhelm

Since the A4-4000 is a Dual Core a 6450 would be the best match. If that is what you want to do.

I have a A10-5800K and I decided against Dual Graphics. I went with a 7850 instead which disabled the onboard graphics.

But I did answer your question.

Further question for anyone, if I may.

Is the 6450 the only card that will function in dual graphics mode with the A4-4000?

E.g., would an A4-4000 function in dual graphics mode with either a 6570 or a 6670?

Thanks again

A4 APU's do not support dual graphics only the A6, A8 and A10's do so your kinda out of luck there.

Your best bet is to get your self a 7770 or 7850 and forget about crossfireing
