I just purchased an AMD A4-5300 to go on an MSI FM2-A75MA-E35.

Everything worked great out of the box, but the graphics performance was not where I was hoping it'd be, so I began looking into adding a discrete GPU.

I've come across a couple of resources/documentation stating that the A4-5300 series does not support adding an additional discrete GPU, otehrwise known as "Dual Graphics".

Can I get confirmation/denial to this point, and links to corresponding AMD documentation stating the (no) support of discrete GPUs for this CPU?

Even if the A4-5300 supported Dual Graphics which it doesn't stay away from that type of setups.

Get yourself a good 7850 or 7870 card. The only draw back is PSU. To use a discrete card you will need 500-650 PSU.

I have a Black Edition XFX 7850 which works great when gaming and watch videos.

So depending on your PSU and budget spend it wisely.
