i have a asrock motherboard FM2A85X Extreme6 BIOS updated to 2.30--everything current drivers --with a a10 6800k .  Win 7pro only show 2 cores present in the taskmanager and cpu z 1.67-- only shows 2 cores 2 threads but my device manager in windows 7 shows 4 processors --what is going on?

please help!!!

Isn't the a10 6800k black edition a quadcore (4-core and 4 threads)?

I need to know quick to solve this or to return it soon if i have a bad processor --newegg return processes --please help!!!

Well here is what you have with the APU A10-6800K. It contains two PileDriver modules which equals 4 cores/threads. Each program you use to display this information will have different results depending how it interputs the APU.
