I have the exact same issue with Windows 7. I recently tried windows 8.1 and it worked just fine with the windows assigned graphics drivers, but as soon as I try to install the amd drivers, I lose HDMI connection. I have an asus a88xm-plus mobo.

I have the same mobo and processor, you need to update your bios before you install the 13.3,

download the bios update from asus website, put it on a flash drive, plug it into the green outlined usb port, use the ez flash utility under the tools tab in bios

I am also on the latest BIOS version. Not only does the HDMI port not function with the 13.30 drivers, but CCC crashes whenever I try to open it. I put in a ticket with AMD, but haven't heard anything back. This has been an extremely frustrating "upgrade." I understand this is a new product that still has some issues that need to be worked out, but I am stuck until I can get these drivers working. Worst of all, I can't even return the APU, so I am stuck on this rollercoaster.

Anyway, I hope the next version of the drivers will fix these issues.

Noticed Asus released a new BIOS update 2 days ago. I will try those when I get home. Thank you for the suggestion.

I am having the exact same issue with an A10-7700K in Windows 7 64 bit. I am using the A88XM-A motherboard. VGA works fine, but HDMI and DVI do not.

I've tried both 1003 and 1102 BIOS, to no avail.

Sticking an A4 in this board allows both ports to work, so it's got to be some sort of incompatibility with the Kaveri, ASUS board, and Windows 7.

I'm having the exact same problem with the Asus 88XM-Plus -- I am unable to see any video in Windows 8 Pro x64.

I too have the 7850K -- with HDMI out.

Thankfully, I also have a R7 260X which allows me to use this PC.

My other system using the Asus 88XM-Plus with the same build date and same BIOS does work with a Richland based APU. :/

My other 7850K based machines which are using boards from Gigabyte do not have this issue.

I keep checking for an updated BIOS on the Asus website, but maybe it's time to give their support a phone call.

Same issue with my install (A10-7700K, A88XM-PLUS).

I have tried with fresh install of Windows 8.1 and I can confirm that the behaviour is the same with Ubuntu 13.1. Generic drivers worked ok with HDMI, but there is no output at all over HDMI once I have installed the AMD Catalyst drivers.

Not sure if this clue helps, but when I remote login  it's apparent that the drivers cannot detect the equipment -- cannot detect display, and does not show screen resolutions that are applicabel to the attached display.
