I have the following laptop.  What if any, processor can I upgrade too?

HP 2000 Notebook PC

D1E80UA#ABA

Windows 8.1 64-bit

AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

I use the laptop mainly for surfing and streaming video from the internet.  It is clean and I have always had Norton 360 Installed since Day 1.  During the watching of video I often get messages from Norton that shows my processor being pushed to the limits but they still play well.  My browser of choice is firefox.  Will or can i get a processor that would give me better graphics?  Or would upgrading a driver might improve performance.  Thanks

Don't believe that HP model is upgradable, it a entry level model. Your best bet is to shutdown any other processes. I think that Norton is sucking a good portion of your processing power as well.

Sorry about that but if you are looking for more power look at some of the newer configurations out there.

I really never liked Norton it hogs resources. Depending on where you are doing your surfing why are you not using the built in Windows product.

There are sites out there that describe what services are and are not needed. Most of them are really don't know nothing about the subject. Here is one that is honest and up front.

Windows Defender "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe" from your command prompt. This will launch the user interface of the Defender.
