I currently have two HD7870's in my rig CF'd, with great results, on an Gigabyte Gen 3 mobo with a I5-2500k CPU.

I am liking the look and spec's of the 7850k APU and was hoping to join it with my two video cards on an Asus 88 pro mobo. Wondering if the two GPU's would then CF with the APU (or dual graphics) and make something magical!?

As of right now if it were going to support anything I would imagine it would be a 7730/7750/7770. Since it has 512 steam processors and those are the dedicated GPU in that series

If you have an I5 with two 7870's keep it. It'll be alot faster then that APU could muster.

Thanks for your reply as I can appreciate were you are coming from! I'm an intel fan but also love AMD...technology in general.

However, I was hoping to maybe find someone who has "hands on'd" this type of project rather the the hypotheticals.

On paper this apu is toted to give the i5 4670 a go! I'd rather some folks who have done some tinkering is all.

If no one has tried then maybe I'll make the purchase an give some hands on. It could always be made into it's own system. Either be my PS4 or sold for profit being so new!

the a10-7850k can crossfire with the radeon 250, however the 250 only supports 2 gpu configurations.  So you can't have a 3 way crossfire.

This is completely false. It won't give an I5 *anything* a run for its mony Period. The only thing that it competes with is the 512core intergrated GPU. That is faster then the intel IGP. However when it comes to CPU horsepower. That APU is an absolute joke.
