Graphics Card - AMD Radeon HD 6570

AMD Catalyst Driver Version - 13.251-131206a-167200C-ATI

Catalyst Version - 13.12

AMD Catalyst Control Center Version - 2013.1206.1603.28764

Operating System - Windows 8.1 64 bit version 6.3.9600 Build 9600

Upgraded processor from AMD A4-3420 to AMD A8-3850 and the system constantly freezes when trying to do anything,  after about 1 minute the just reboots itself.  Put old processor back in and everything is fine again.

System make/model - HP p6-2310

Motherboard - Pegatron corp

BIOS version/date - AMI 8.08, 9/20/2012

Power Supply - Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W

Display - ViewSonic VX2250 Series 1920x1080 75Hz DVI connection

CPU - AMD A8-3850 APU

Memory - 8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC3-10700H (667 MHz)

part number - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Additional Hardware installed - Hauppauge PCI WinTV HVR-1255 tuner card.

After installing the new processor can you get into the BIOS? Try resetting BIOS to failsafe defaults and or upgrade the BIOS to the latest version.

Uninstall all related drivers completely before powering down to install the new APU.

Remove any additional cards until problem is resolved.

Try booting to a ubuntu distro cd/usb to check stability with the new APU.
