Display Device(s) and Connection(s) Used
- Single direct HDMI from motherboard to 1080p HDTV (this is the problem, cant handle 1080p)

Applications and Games

- Latest Warframe - fullscreen results in frozen/blackscreen game - have to force close | works fine borderless fullscreen (see update2 below)

- Latest Battlefield 4 - fullscreen results in frozen/blackscreen game - have to force close | works fine borderless fullscreen | mantle or dx11 (see update2 below)

- Latest Batman Origins - fullscreen does work but sound randomly chirps out, first boss model flickery and often disapears altogether | pausing and unpausing seems to regain audio (see update2 below)

- VLC fullscreen plays 1080p video flawlessly

- Steam BigPicture works flawlessly fullscreen

- Metal Gear Rising - couldn't fullscreen at 1080p, could at 1360x768

I will update with other games that I test but I am hoping that switching to the 14.3 beta will fix at least some of the issues.

Update: newer beta driver has no effect on the problems listed above

Update2: switched from 1920x1080 to 1360x768 (tvs preferred + slightly larger than 720p) resulted in better performance accross the board, batman arkham origins didn't have dissapearing models or audio glitches. Warframe & battlefield 4 could both be put into fullscreen mode. Looks like this thing just cant handle high resolutions for games.

It would be one thing if I had to greatly reduce the settings for 1080p fullscreen but to be for the most part unable to actually activate that mode or have to deal with model/audio issues is not right. Hopefully future drivers will rectify this problem.
