Hi,

I am trying to install drivers for my laptop: MSI gx60. I run windows 8.1 pro 64 bit.

My CPU is: AMD A10-4600M

My graphic card is: AMD Radeon HD 7970M

For the CPU I find the driver called: Catalyst software suite

For the graphic card I find the driver called: AMD Mobility Radeon driver.

My question is: Should I install both programs, or will they conflict each other? It seems like the packages includes some of the same files?

Hi,

You should use the Moblity driver. However, the best option is to get the drivers from your laptop manufacturer - MSI.

I do not have a laptop right now. So I cannot tell for sure. You may try to install the Beta 14.6 or 14.4 WHQL. At your own risk.

Ive always been tols that the drivers from the mfg. are usually out of date. If you know you APU model go to the download page and get the latest & greatest..
