Hello everyobody!

I'm planning to buy a Sapphire Radeon R9 270 to install to my system. This is the system I own:

APU: AMD A8 6600k @ 3.9GHz

Motherboard: ASRock FM2A55M-VG3+

RAM: 8 GB PC1333

PSU: Corsair TX550M

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB

I have been playing Batman Arkham Asylum @720p, most of details on high and I've noticed my temperatures measured with Speedfan go up to 57º C and usually idles around 32ºC

My case is well cooled, are these normal temps? Would I reduce my CPU temps after installing a discrete videocard and disabling the graphics on the APU?

Thanks for your answers in advance.

57º C is perfectly normal under use, try to keep it under 65, but under 70 there is no danger of any kind.
