I heard that FX-7600P is the best APU of the current generation for laptops.
However, the only laptop with FX-7600P APU that I saw is this one:

AMD Kaveri Laptop: AMD FX-7600P + Radeon R7

This laptop was presented in the end of May 2014 at some exchibition.
But, three month have passed and I still could not find any FX-7600P laptops!
Not only in my country, but anywhere in the world as well (despite some other laptop APUs from this generation are already available)

Please tell me, are there any news about FX-7600P APU based laptops?
Or such APUs were cancelled by AMD?

Good day!  I could tell that this is not the _first_ FX-7600P laptop that has surfaced.

I have been monitoring the situation with FX-7600P laptops for like a month. ASUS X550ZE has appeared just yesterday.

However, at many German warehouses and other European stores, there are already 4 MSI models with FX-7600P

1) GX60-5CD81FD (0016FL-SKU2) -- about €900 -- 39.6 cm (15.6") screen, Free DOS , DVD-SuperMulti

2) GX60-5CD16H11 (0016FL-SKU1) -- about €1100 -- 39.6 cm (15.6") screen, Win 8.1 , DVD-SuperMulti

3) GX70-5CD81FD (00176L-SKU2) -- about €1000 -- 43.9 cm (17.3") screen, Free DOS , Blu-ray Writer

4) GX70-5CD8H11B (00176L-SKU1) -- about €1200 -- 43.9 cm (17.3") screen, Win 8.1 , Blu-ray Writer

Prices are approximate, and could be lower in your country if you have lower taxes.

These specifications are the same for all models:

* AMD FX 7600P APU

* AMD Radeon R9 M290X discrete GPU with 2 GB VRAM

* Full HD screen with resolution 1920x1080

* Hybrid storage: 1 TB 7200 rpm hard drive together with 128 GB solid state drive

* WLAN 802.11n , Bluetooth 4.0 , Webcam

More technical details could be seen under this Facebook post:

GX70 5CD Destroyer

According to my information, they would be selling them in 1-2 weeks if nothing changes...

P.S. If you want to see it with your own eyes, you could visit Cyberport website , type FX7600P in search bar, search and open laptops in new tab, then use Google Translate for links. Some websites have quietly removed these leaks from their online listings though

P.P.S. I am glad that MSI has decided to make a version with Free DOS, that will help to save a lot of money - €200, about 20% of total price! I have no desire to pay anything to Micro$$oft : not because I am going to pirate Windows, but because I am a Linux guy and prefer fully free software like this beautiful OS without any closed source elements - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trisquel

I've been waiting awile for an FX-7600p laptop to appear, but i'm not interested  in 1 with an additional GPU

What I want is something along the lines of

FX-7600P

8/16 GB DDR 3 2133MHZ RAM

14" Matt Full HD Screen

128/240/256GB SSD

I really have no need for an extra GPU, as any gaming done will be at low/Mid settings, which the APU is more than capable of handling, as this will be a second system.

Price will also have to be sub £800

-------------------------

System - Runs Cool and 100% Stable

AMD FX 8350 @ 4/4.2GHZ, Corsair H60, ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R 2.0, 8GB AMD R9 2400 MHZ RAM, 3GB AMD R9 280 GPU, Crucial 240GB M500 SSD, Seagate 1TB SSHD. housed in a Corsair Carbide 300R Case with Corsair CXM 750W 80+ PSU

Would anybody know if I would be able to upgrade the RAM in the MSI GX70-5CD8H11B (00176L-SKU1) -- about €1200 -- 43.9 cm (17.3") screen, Win 8.1 , Blu-ray Writer Notebook? I was wanting to upgrade to the very first DDR4 Sticks that are available by Kingston. It comes with DDR3 RAM. Thanks!!

I can remember my brother was stuck with his old laptop (AMD Sembron SI-42) while he waited about 5 months to buy a FX-7600P laptop, at the end he got an i5-4200M + GT 740M.

I am stuck using someone else's Intel Based Desktop Computer. I can say for a fact that Intel is not that great of a CPU/APU! I can't wait to buy this thing...to me, it seems to be a Special Notebook since it is not made in the US yet!!
