I have 2 V7900 cards connected to 8 monitors. Occasionally on reboot one of the monitors will drop off and go back to VGA mode and the placement of all the monitors is reset. If I unplug the displayport cable and swap it with another monitor while windows is running it will be re-detected correctly. Then I swap them back to where they were and all is working like it should be.

Win7 64 bit, Intel Xeon E5 CPU's, Release driver 12.104.2 from June 2013, no crossfire cable (that made things really bad)

Beta driver did not work well so I went back to the latest stable release.

Anyone from AMD have any ideas? Is there a log I can look at to see what happened during boot?

Thanks

Greetings, i use to have the same problem with only one card and three monitors, it was hapenning when i was switching settings a lot. after i stopped that, it just went away. Maybe you want to use additional software if you need to switch display settings. Hope that helped. I guess that bug isnt fixed.
