Hello all,

I need to connect 14 monitors to a single computer on a tight budget, and I figured I could use 2 AMD Firepro W600 and 2 Startech.com USB2VGAE3 (like the name implies, USB to VGA dongle).

I can get both W600 to work without issues, or only one W600 with both USB2VGAE3. By installing Startech's driver, Windows disables the "second" W600 (error code 43). Disabling the "first" W600 and enabling the second one in device manager works as intended.

To have both W600s working again, I have to uninstall all drivers (AMD and Startech) and install AMD driver again.

Has anyone tried this or a similar combination? After much fiddling around, I'm stomped.

I've tried the latest drivers from both companies (including beta version from AMD).

I'm using Windows 7 64bit Home Premium, Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0, AMD FX6300, 4GB RAM. Latest AMD driver tested: Catalyst 12.104.2-162794 (beta).

As someone behooved with Amds lack of responses or help on this forum, I am here to try and lend some advice.

Have you tired the same configuration on a different motherboard to iron out if it's a motherboard problem?

only thing I 've got for ya.
