Some motherboards have up to 7 pci express slots. If one FirePro W600 will drive 6 displays, is it safe to say you can use 7 W600's and get 42 displays working? All displays are native display port, and would run as extended desktop, no eyefinity. This would be ran on a very powerful machine, most likely running windows 8.1 or linux. It's only purpose is to display stock charts and other 2D market data.
If possible, do you need anything beyond hydravision for this to work?
I can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere. The most monitors I have heard of anyone hooking up to one PC is 12. Is 12 some sort of hard limit?
