I used the AMD Driver Autodetect Utility to determine that the following driver is available for my FirePro V5800:

13.152.4-whql-x32x64-163380

Every time I try to download this file from the Autodetect utility (press the download button) the download starts and then fails (as it nears the end) with the following dialog box:

"Could not download file: Could not parse error"

This occurs regardless of what "Speed Limit" I choose (I have a very fast and reliable internet connection).

As an aside, I am trying to upgrade my older driver because I just installed Photoshop CC and each I start the program I get the following error:

eok-lvalue-adjust, clc.exe has stopped working.  The file clc.exe is located in the folder c:\Program files (x86)ATI Stream\bin\

so I think my Photoshop CC problem is related to the Firepro; but I can't (try) to fix it unless I can download the driver, which I am unable to do!

Thanks for any suggestions,

Ken

I just downloaded this driver with no problems.  Don't use that update tool to get it.  Instead, go to this site:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Select "Workstation Graphics" for step 1

Select "FirePro 3D Series" for step 2

Select "FirePro V5800" for step 3

Select "Windows 7 32bit" or "Windows 7 64bit" for step 4

Click Display Results.

After you get to the next screen, click the download link and wait for the download to complete.

I followed your steps, Jamil (except for the radeon mobility 4XXX series) and was able to get the download just fine. Hopefully it will work now. Thanks for your help.

I was able to finally download the file without the parse error.  It was successful the first time I tried it at 2 AM, a few days ago.

... but good to know for future reference one can go directly to the download site.
