At work we have a HP Z420 Workstation that has a AMD FirePro V 3900.  We have it connected to a TV with a 25 Ft DVI to HDMI cable, do to the fact that the TV doesn't have a DVI or VGA connection.  The reason for the long cable is do to the location of the computer and tv.  On the screen of the TV is shows the desktop but also grenn lines going across. We have tried to change the different setting on the TV but unable to fix.  I am not sure what the problem is. I am looking for help.

Would the video card have enough power to send the signal that distance or do I need to get a different video that has enough power to send the signal.

You are much better off using the DP output => DP2HDMI Adapter => HDMI cable
