Hello! I have a HP notebook model G42-371 BR (AMD Turion II Dual-Core P560). He has a video card AMD Radeon HD 6370 (512 MB??). I have it installed Linux operating system (Ubuntu 12.04 64bit) with kernel 3.2.0-40-generic. I'm using AMD's proprietary driver for the video card that is the repository of the distribution for that version of Ubuntu. The problem is that for most of the games I bought on Steam Valve is saying that the driver of my video card is old. And soon after it is suggested that I upgrade to an experimental version of the AMD driver that is also in the repos. I realize that this experimental driver is not working on my notebook, because the icons were large and Valve's Steam does not start, among other problems. I've tried other versions of the driver, but the problem continues. Is there any solution for this?
