All,

I have attempted to install both Catalyst 13.1 and 13.4 on Debian 7 for two Gigabyte Radeon 7950s using a ASROCK 970 Extreme 4 motherboard.  The first card is plugged into the first PCI-E 16 slot, and the second card is plugged into the second.

When running the following, it recognizes both cards:

root@test:~# aticonfig --lsa

* 0. 01:00.0 AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
  1. 02:00.0 AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

* - Default adapter

However, the temperature for the second card does not show using the following:

root@test:~# aticonfig --odgt --adapter=all

Adapter 0 - AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series
            Sensor 0: Temperature - 33.00 C
ERROR - Get temperature failed for Adapter 1 - AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

Any ideas on what might be going wrong?  Any help appreciated.

EDIT: Trying to make the command line examples look more ledgable.
