Hi folks!

Like the title, says, my X server crashes completely when I enable compositing (aka "desktop effects") in KDE, and when I run Frozen Synapse from the current Humble Bundle (version 1339710386).

I'm running the RPMFusion packaged drivers. Here are my versions:

  • kde-workspace-4.10.4-1.fc19.x86_64
  • xorg-x11-drv-catalyst-libs-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.i686
  • akmod-catalyst-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.3.x86_64
  • kmod-catalyst-3.9.5-301.fc19.x86_64-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.3.x86_64
  • xorg-x11-drv-catalyst-libs-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.x86_64
  • kmod-catalyst-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.3.x86_64
  • xorg-x11-drv-catalyst-13.6-0.1.beta.fc19.x86_64

I've pasted my atisysteminfo-report.txt at

If there's any other crash dump I can enable, I'd be happy to provide it.

Fedora seems to have tons of issues, I'm surprsed that you managed to install drivers and boot at all. Sticking to F17 (18 is the worst) or trying another distro, maybe using open source drivers are the best ideas I can give until Fedora comes back top its former glory (if at all...).
