I have just bought a new Gigabyte motherboard and an A10 6800K processor.

I am running Debian Unstable and up to now have always used AMD CPUs and NVidia Graphics Cards so I am swimming in unknown waters.

I have tried Catalyst 13.4 and 13.11. The installation partially fails with:

"dkms part of installation failed".

In the log file I find:

"Kernel Module: Failed to build fgrlx 13.20.16 with DKMS".

So I have a driver but no 3D. Which is tragic

Could somebody please help?

Same here with 13.4 Driver.

13.11 works for me but without brightness control which is a battery difference of around 3-4 hours on my Thinkpad E135-2000 with Ubuntu 13.10 on it.
