2x Acer 16:10 LCD's (1680x1050 native, DVI)

1x Dell 16:9 E2311H (1920x1080 native, VGA)

Dual boot Debian/Win7

Debian driver: Beta 14.2

In Debian AND Windows 7, the native resolution for the Dell E2311H is not available within the selectable resolutions. In Windows 7, I can override the maximum resolution and set it to "1920x1080", however in Debian this option does not seem to be available at all. Using xrandr to add a custom resolution seems to work until it fails after selecting the resolution, with the error:

"Invalid Settings

The current settings cannot be applied. Possible issues may include:

-Display(s) cannot be enabled.

-Setting(s) cannot be applied due to insufficient video memory."

How might this be fixed?
