Are there plans to support Fedora 20 and Gnome 3 running on Wayland?

I need to purchase a new GPU, but I don't think AMD supports this configuration.

We have no idea. Probably yes, if it ever becomes mainstream, but currently probably not.

You may want to ask AMD if you need more than just guessing though.
