Hello,

I am currently running Ubuntu 12.04 and have a Samsung Series 7 laptop with a hybrid intel/AMD 6700m graphics card.

I've just installed the 14.6 catalyst driver (amd-driver-installer-14.20-x86.x86_64.run) and everything seems to have installed properly.

After rebooting and checking with fglrxinfo I tried to enable the card to run in ATI mode but found no Catalyst Control Center!?

On a previous install I installed the 13.4 driver and the CCC was installed at the time of driver installation.

Am I missing something?  Do I need to install it seperately?  I can't find it on the AMD website.

Thanks!

It should be there. Open a terminal and type "sudo amdcccle".

Thanks for the reply!

That is what I did.  I get:

david@dk:~$ sudo amdcccle
sudo: amdcccle: command not found

Then the drivers are not installed. What's in /usr/share/ati/fglrx-install.log? Any error messages?

Here is the output of install.log:

I did the installation, did: sudo amdconfig --initial, rebooted, and checked with fglrxinfo (which previously just said command not found.)
